You can install the app on unlimited devices — there's no cap on installations. What's restricted is the number of streams running at the same time and how many networks those streams can be spread across. This depends on the location detected from the connection's IP address, not on where the account was originally registered.
A "network" is defined by the internet connection in use — home Wi-Fi, mobile data, office Wi-Fi, a hotel or coffee shop connection, etc. If a device switches from Wi-Fi to mobile data, that counts as a different network, even if it's the same device.
USA, Mexico, and Canada
Up to 5 simultaneous streams, across up to two (2) networks.
Connections detected in these three countries get extra flexibility: 5 streams can be split between two different networks running at the same time, such as home Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Example: John is in the USA. His household has 2 TVs, 1 laptop, and 2 cell phones.
- ✅ He can use all 5 devices at once, all on his home Wi-Fi.
- ✅ Alternatively, he can have 4 TVs streaming at home while his wife streams on her cell phone using mobile data at work — 5 total streams across 2 networks, which is allowed.
- ❌ He cannot spread those same 5 streams across three or more different networks at once (e.g., home, his work, and his wife's work simultaneously).
Rest of the World
Up to 5 simultaneous streams, all on one (1) network.
All active streams must share the same network at the same time. If a 6th stream is attempted, or a stream is started on a second network while others are already active elsewhere, the additional stream will be blocked.
Example: John is in Europe. His household has 3 TVs and 2 cell phones.
- ✅ He can stream on all 5 devices at once, provided they're all connected to his home Wi-Fi.
- ❌ He cannot stream on his phone at work while his kids are streaming at home on the family TV at the same time — that involves two separate networks.
- ✅ If he turns off the streams at home, he's free to stream on his phone at work or on the go.

Good to Know
- Region is based on the connection's detected location (IP address) at the time of streaming, not on where the account was created or where the user normally lives. Traveling outside the USA, Mexico, or Canada may temporarily reduce the network allowance to one, even for an account originally set up there — and vice versa.
- VPNs can affect network detection. A VPN can make a connection appear to be in a different country than the user's physical location, which may unexpectedly change which limit applies or trigger network-limit errors.
- Stream limits reset instantly. Turning off a stream on one device immediately frees up a slot for another — no waiting period.
- Downloads don't count as active streams if offline viewing is supported; only live playback counts toward the limit.
- Hitting the limit typically triggers an on-screen error or a prompt asking the user to stop a stream on another device before continuing.
